Webshop software

Woocommerce

Our online store is developed with software from Woocommerce. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. Woocommerce has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support. They will never use your data for another purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Woocommerce is obligated to take appropriate security measures. Woocommerce uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software. No personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web hosting

Hostnet

We use web hosting and email services from Hostnet. Hostnet processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Hostnet has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Hostnet is obligated to confidentiality based on the agreement.

Email and mailing lists

Mailchimp

We send our email newsletters with Mailchimp. Mailchimp will never use your name and email address for their own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by Mailchimp. Mailchimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that tell if emails are opened and read. Mailchimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve services and to share information with third parties in this context.

We use Gmail for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data to the greatest extent possible. Gmail has no access to our mailbox and we handle all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Pay.nl

For handling (part of) payments in our online store, we use the platform of Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, address and residence details, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Pay.nl reserves the right to use your data to further improve services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. Pay.nl shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies if you apply for deferred payment (credit facility). All the above-mentioned safeguards for the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of

Pay.nl's services for which they engage third parties. Pay.nl does not store your data longer than permitted by legal time limits.

Reviews

Webwinkelkeur

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name, place of residence, and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. Shipping and logistics

PostNL

If you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL for carrying out the deliveries. It is necessary for that to share your name, address, and residence data with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only to perform the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

E-boekhouden

For keeping our administration and accounting, we use the services of e-boekhouden. We share your name, address and residence details, and details of your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely, e-boekhouden has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use. E-boekhouden is obligated to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. E-boekhouden does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Bol.com, Marktplaats, Beslist.nl, Tweedehands.be, Google Shopping

We sell (part of) our articles through the platforms of Bol.com, Marktplaats, Beslist.nl, Tweedehands.be, Google Shopping. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com, Marktplaats, Beslist.nl, Tweedehands.be, Google Shopping shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to handle your order. We deal with your data confidentially.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We use your data only for the purposes of our services. This means that the aim of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later date – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. Retention periods

We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to store invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. Employees, however, no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced based on your

order.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European law, you have certain rights as a data subject with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights.

In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to your email address already known to us. Right to transferability

You always have the right to perform by another party with the data we (have) process that relates to your person or can be traced back to it.
